Self-Performed Work

VK Powell has the ability to self-perform many aspects of a project's construction.  We have found that by self-performing major portions of a project, we have better control of its overall quality and schedule.

Typical self-performed work includes:

• Structural and Architectural Concrete
• Structural and Miscellaneous Steel Erection
• Rough and Finish Carpentry
• Door and Hardware Installation
• Steel Studs
• Drywall
• Specialties

Although we have the ability to self-perform many parts of a project, we continually solicit subcontractor bids for these areas of work to ensure our prices are competitive.  The client is always part of this self-check process.
